Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota

I had never been to Minneapolis or St. Paul (or Minnesota for that matter) before.  Both towns were very interesting.

THE STONE ARCH BRIDGE (Minneapolis)

There's one in every town now!

First Avenue and 7th Street Entry are two music venues in a landmark building in downtown Minneapolis. The names are derived from the building's location: the corner of First Avenue and 7th Street in downtown Minneapolis. The building is marked by 531 stars on its exterior along the First Avenue and Seventh Street sides commemorating past venue performers. During the 1980s, local artist Prince helped put First Avenue and 7th Street Entry at the forefront of music venues in Minneapolis. Prince made it his main stage, the place for him to try out new material, and used it as the set for many scenes in his movie, Purple Rain.

BEST MALL EVER!! (And, biggest!)

ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA

St. Paul's Cathedral

This building is SO beautiful!

Downtown St. Paul was a very nice area.  They had these cute, bronze statues of the Peanuts Gang all over the area.  I loved it!

I liked these insets that were in the sidewalks.
