Chicago Architectural Boat Tour

This was one of the best things I have ever done.  I took a boat down the Chicago River and enjoyed the beauty of all the architectural landmarks.  Of particular interest was the story of Chicago's rise from the ashes of the Great Fire of 1871 to become the home of the skyscraper and the cradle of modern American architecture. This is really the #1 thing you should do if you are ever in Chicago.

You take the boat tour from the Navy Pier.

The boats are nice and very comfortable.

I don't look thrilled because I am not a big fan of boats!

A great way to spend an afternonoon.

Another cruise in front of us.

Some geese in the River.

What an amazing residence to live in!

The Sears Tower, again.  It is difficult to be anywhere in Chicago an not see it.
